It’s very traumatizing to deliver before term. Talking to other parents who have been through it has helped us deal with feelings of guilt, anger, and so on, feelings that can take years to overcome.

It isn’t supposed to happen, we can never be prepared for it if it does, but sometimes our babies don’t live. I share this because our stillborn babies, our agonizing, nightmarish journeys to deliver them need to be acknowledged and understood.
