It features testimonials from parents who have immigrated from Mexico, Haïti, Morocco, and Libya who have chosen to have their children educated in French. Animated and video segments are presented to inform families even before their move to Canada. |

Web Capsules for La Cité collégialeCreated for La Cité collégiale (Ottawa, Ontario) and the Consortium national de la santé to promote health-related programs taught at this French-language college. Each of the ten multimedia capsules presents the aptitudes needed, program outline, and career possibilities for a different program, using excerpts of video interviews with students, teachers and health professionals. The capsules are lively combinations of text, music, and video in styles as varied as the topics presented! | ||

Le choix des parents exogames (The Choice of Exogamous Parents)Parents partenaires en éducation (Parent Partners in Education) Two DVD-videos on the choice of French-language education by exogamous (mixed language) parents in Ontario. This was developed to present the challenges faced by parents who have their children educated in another language, how these challenges can be met, and the advantages to children who acquire two languages. The first DVD includes video interviews with parents from the National Capital region, and the second video features a portrait of French-language education in the Windsor, Ontario. View

Collection of videos for physical activity in the classroomJoint project between the Conseil des écoles catholiques de langue française du Centre-Est and the Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l’Est ontarien, 2006 Three DVDs developed for elementary school students as part of the Daily Physical Activity Program throughout schools in Ontario. Each DVD contains 7 videos, 20 minutes each, on various themes, with versions adapted to grades 1-3, 4-6, and 7-8. Pentafolio participated in scenario development for the themes, researched and edited sound, visual and narrative content, filmed the exercises with actual students in schools, and produced final videos. |

Graphic Design ServiceConseil des écoles catholiques de langue française du Centre-est (CECLFCE), 1988-2005 Pentafolio worked closely with the CECLFCE (formerly the Conseil des écoles séparées catholiques d'Ottawa, then the Conseil des écoles catholiques de langue française de la région d'Ottawa-Carleton) Public Relations service for the production of newsletters, advertising, brochures, flyers, presentations and annual reports. Here are a few samples: an animation created for teaching staff; the PDF of a course calendar cover; a poster; and a flyer. Pentafolio also created the school board’s visual identity that can be seen on these pieces. |

“Le français pour moi” (French for Me) Board GamePublic Service Commission of Canada, 1988 This quiz game for public service employees is used to measure French-language skills acquired during language training. Pentafolio designed and then hand-crafted most of the package: the board, box, and game cards were screen printed then laminated; while the booklets and “money” were offset-printed. |
